Dear Valued Members & Friends,

I would first like to begin with thanking you all for your loyalty, support and kindness during a time of great transition for this gym. The last couple of years have been filled with many ups and downs for A-Maisine Bodies Fitness and I'm proud to say that we've weathered all of these events with the help of you, my friends and gym patrons -- without whom this place and this community would not be possible. I've always said change is a good thing, it's inevitable, and we'd like you all to be the first to be aware of the final change for A-Maisine Bodies Fitness.

After 9 wonderful years of bringing health and fitness to this community, it is time for me to face the reality of a new challenge to this business, which we're sure you're aware of: with the opening of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre, there has been a noticable drop in membership here. Unfortunately, as a privately owned and locally operated facility we are unable to compete with a publically-funded community centre. We have worked tirelessly to provide the best service and it is to my great dismay that our best has not met the standards of the community.

Regretfully, we would like to officially announce that we will be closing our doors on April 30th, 2012.

While it is difficult for me to let go of a place that has been my home for many years, I absolutely sympathize with those choosing to exercise elsewhere. Engaging in a healthy and fit lifestyle is a huge commitment and I fully understand that we all need to find a workout regimen that fits our respective schedules and interests. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all continued health and success.

Now, down to business:
As we're well aware, many of you have pre-paid for your gym memberships. There is no cause for concern as we will be providing each of you with a cheque for the balance of time remaining on your pre-paid membership (calculated on a per-day basis).
Cheques will be available for pick up beginning the week of May 15th 2012.

For those who pay on a monthly, pre-authorized basis your membership will automatically be terminated after April 15th, 2012.

Last, but certainly not least, I'd like to share with you all a new venture of mine. With every ending comes a new beginning, and I'm very happy and excited to announce the opening of GLOyoga Bradford, a yoga and personal training studio which will be offering yoga, hot yoga, and personal training. Here, you will find many familiar faces and instructors working together to provide the community with another fantastic option for health and wellness. Keep an eye out -- we're looking to open our doors in May!

In closing, I would like to once again thank each and every one of you for being part of this journey. It's been a great ride filled with so many wonderful people, laughs and memories. Thank you for all the amazing years; I will look back on them fondly and it's my hope that you do, too.
